Community Involvement

In addition to our services providing emergency medical services to the community, we also provide service at special events / venues. Some examples include the Virginia Beach Amphitheater, the Pungo Strawberry Festival, Hunt Club Farms, school events and other public events and functions.

Events

The Squad hosts several events during the year to raise funds and connect with the community.

Sponsorship opportunities are often available.

2021 Nonprofit Volunteer Program of the Year

– VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads Volunteer Achievement Awards

The mission of VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads is to connect businesses with opportunities which create a positive impact on our community; to equip nonprofits with the resources they need to achieve their mission; to mobilize a community of volunteers to create change.

Each year they recognize the region’s most outstanding volunteers based on their length of service, initiative, and impact on the community though their Volunteer Achievement Awards.

2019 Zoll Volunteer EMS Service of the Year Award

– National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT)

Given annually, this national award is sponsored by Zoll Medical Corporation and recognizes EMS Departments for their outstanding contributions to the EMS profession as well as the patients they serve. Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad was selected as recipient of this award from hundreds of applicants hailing from all areas of the United States.

2019 Regional EMS Award for Outstanding EMS Agency – Tidewater EMS Council
EMS agency that exemplifies innovative excellence and advancement in the statewide Virginia Emergency Medical Services system, and that has demonstrated a commitment to a comprehensive and unified system of Emergency Medical Services throughout the Commonwealth.
